The shortage of components and chips affects several sectors of the technology market. Apple is one of the few companies that seems to be making it through this setback, but it's about to end.
A new report from Nikkei points to an expected increase in
the price of products that Apple will launch in the future. The reason is
precisely related to the scarcity of components on the market.

This report states that Apple will be forced to a
"notorious" increase in the price of its devices. Something that will
happen not because of the American company's will, but because TSMC is getting
equipped to increase the production cost of new workings.
Due to the scarcity of raw tools, TSMC, long-time partner of
Apple, is now forced to raise its prices. This means that manufacture costs for
new components will increase and that brands will reflect this increase in the
final price of their gear.
The new TSMC price lists are expected to take effect from
October 1st. Any component produced after that date will be more expensive than
today and will be produced in strictly necessary units.
For the end consumer, this means that iPhone, iPad and Mac's
are on the verge of getting even more expensive. It's not generally agreed
whether the iPhone 13 will already reflect this increase in production costs,
but next year's Apple products are unlikely to escape.
Very recently, another source optional that the iPhone 13
would be more expensive than its predecessors. The reason for this had to do
precisely with the increase in prices imposed by TSMC, the most expensive model
of this smartphone family being able to exceed 2000 €.
In keeping with what Nikkei reports most recently, the rise
in the prices of Apple products is inevitable. It will be a query of when and
not a question of if.
