As mentioned by the operator in Portugal, the new NOS equipment take-back program is already in place. In a nutshell, it consists of exchanging old and functional smartphones for a voucher , which could reach 600 €.

This voucher must be immediately redeemed by the customer when purchasing new equipment in one of NOS' physical stores. The campaign, and respective conditions, were made known today by NOS through a press release.

Savings for the customer when buying a new smartphone from the NOS operator

In the operator's words, the recovery represents not only a saving benefit for customers, but also for the environment. This is because mobile phones taken back from NOS stores are reconditioned and reintroduced in the market.

When its reuse is not possible, the equipment goes to recycling, minimizing the electronic waste produced.

It is a range of refurbished smartphones for purchase, but in perfect condition, with a two-year warranty, at very competitive prices.
