Xiaomi is currently preparing a serious renovation for its mid-range / high-end smartphone ranges. Indeed, after confirming the release of the upcoming Mi 11T on September 15th, we now have new information about the Xiaomi Redmi K50.
It should be noted that so far, the Redmi K40s have arrived in Europe with new names, namely - POCO F3 5G - among other models in the POCO range. Now, a highly credible source points out some features they will love in this future Android smartphone by the Chinese technology company led by Lei Jun.
Fast charging at 120W on the next
Xiaomi smartphone
Xiaomi has made great strides in developing fast charging
technologies over the past two years, with the 120 W standard being the boldest
to date. Note that this 120 W charging technology is virtually unheard of in
the mobile market , being an asset reserved for today's best Xiaomi
smartphones.
On the other hand, the Chinese manufacturer has also already
set another record with wireless charging up to 100 W. This is another of its
bastions, also reserved for the best equipment to be developed by Lei Jun's
company.
It should be noted, however, that in its own market, as a
result of local legislation and regulations, this wireless charging is limited
to 50 W of power. Nevertheless, Xiaomi continues to improve both fast charging
technologies.

So, while continuing to explore the limits of fast charging,
Xiaomi also gradually improves its cheaper phones. More specifically, the
elements that make up the Redmi and POCO product range, for example.
Currently on Redmi phones we find a maximum of 67 W of
charging power. It is, by current standards, synonymous with very fast loading,
far above average when we look at the other mobile market .
However, for Xiaomi this is not enough. Thus, according to
the leaker Digital Chat Station, the next Redmi K50 will have up to 120 W of
charging power. These smartphones could reach Europe with the nomenclature
Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro .

The information is now advanced by the leaker Digital Chat
Station which suggests a new Redmi smartphone available on the global market
coming early next year. The other details besides the 120 W charging are,
however, fuzzy.
This Xiaomi Redmi K50 is expected to be a mid-range
smartphone that, along with fast charging, also brings a good processor,
possibly the Snapdragon 888 in the Pro model.
On another note, there are already rumors suggesting the
exploitation of the 150 W charging standard now that the 120 W standard is
developed and established. Rendering to some sources close to the industry,
this will be the Chinese manufacturer's next goal.

By the way, we recall the unit of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro
modified to withstand the standard load at 200 W . Xiaomi did it to break new
records and let the world know about its advances in this fast charging
technology.
Therefore, everything suggests that this will continue to be
the direction of the manufacturer, especially for global markets. It is
currently the 2nd largest smartphone maker in the world and is a force to be
reckoned with in the global market.
